Dr. Philip McDermott
Dr. McDermott was trained in the UK at the University of Wales College of Medicine and Dentistry and qualified with a merit in 1997. He has practiced in Ireland since 2001. Dr McDermott is dedicated to providing his patients with the latest technology and knowledge. He completes over 100 hours of continuing professional education per year. This education is primarily focused on the latest in cosmetic dentistry. He is the first Dentist outside the USA and Canada to offer "Durathin Veneers". He is certified to provide "lumineer" veneers, Invisalign and Clearstep invisible braces, Straumann Implants and is the key opinion leader for Zoom Tooth Whitening. He has most recently become a certified laser safety training officer for Ireland.
He is a member of the Irish Dental Association, European Society of Esthetic Dentistry, Crown Council, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, for which he is also actively pursuing the 4 year accreditation programme
